You can get a one-way plane ticket way cheaper than $1500. It really depends on how much $$ your time is worth. And if you can trust the car you just bought to get you 2000+ miles back home. It is kinda a toss up. If you don't have any plans, and wouldn't mind the trip, it might be fun to tour the countryside.

DOHC ZC, I,H,E, urethane bushings and mount inserts, rock chipped hood, some rust, stock steelies, nice comfy Integra seats, and the A/C works! What else could you want from an 18 year old car with 241,000 miles? Working on getting the Si tranny in now

I agree with Sastanley.....road trips are fun....even better if you can get someone to go with you, but even alone its a good time.....as long as you think the car will make it from CA to WI and you can get the time off work then go for the road trip.....as for paying him I would get a cashiers check or money order or something....wouldnt carry that much cash on me

...know anyone with a truck? I've taken my dad's pickup and rented a uhaul car trailer and bought cars a good distance away.... I'm not too keen on driving an unkown car a long distance...and plus there's the registration issue, as most people wont let you leave with their plates...

as far as payment... cash definitely rules with private sales of cheap cars.. I dont think anyone will take a personal check..maybe they'll take a certified check..

my last civic hatch..I took out $3500 on my credit card to buy haha... not a good idea
