Need lower control arms in good shape...

Anyone have used lower control arms for an 84 rabbit or similar year. A parts car for sale would be nice too.

they're cheap enough to buy new at $25 each. Bushings need to be changed also along with the ball joint (comes in a set) or can upgrade to the red polyurethane compound. After a good alignment is in order.

ever seen this?... turn on the dash light rheostat and it's xmas! water temp lite flashes, tach dies and hi beam lite operates reverse to normal. Turn off and all is good. No big deal - never liked dash lights anyway but just curious if this is a rabbit thing? Or am I simply missing a ground or even just a bulb?

sounds like you have some wires in reverse polarity

recently started happening. like somethings seeking a ground.
was just wondering if it was a typical rabbit thing that someone might have already gone thru.

well yea kinda.. i meen rabbits and golfs of the earlier years are notorious for electrical problems. maiinly the dash light wire going up in a red hot poof. alot of them i have seen had fried dash light wires from the switch to the pod and to the ash tray. i had to replace mine from scratch cause they don't supply that wire harness anymore, and all the junkyards i went to had the same deal. so i rewired it and put inline fuzes. as for the dash indicator lights. maybe it is looking for a ground, or maybe the harness plug at the back of the pod is slightly coming out or even check all the connectors... sometimes the plastic gets old and the metal slide connectors inside the harness slip out when you plug it in??

main pod plug sounds a good one. I'll check it out next time I really need to go back there.
