Explorer 2003 woes

I have a new 2003 EBExplorer V8 which has had nothing but problems with the electrical systems. Currently, I am still experiencing problems with skidding down my moderately hilly driveway when backing up. Also, intermittently, but, usually when (the car is cold) driving and giving it gas there is a loud racing engine noise, but, little response from the car. Could this be the transmission? Ford upgraded the tires and replaced the front brake calipers in a blind quest to fix the skidding problem without success. They now say that this is a problem of my driveway and gravity! No other cars or SUVs have had this problem on my driveway. Any thoughts?
