revv the motor, pop the clutch. If you want to stay in one spot, e-brake, then rev and pop the clutch.

How about doing it with a stock 96 LS, automatic? Forget about the neutral and "pop" it to drive, I've heard nothing but bad things about doing that.

rev it almost to redline, then pop the clutch as fast as you can. dont hold the rev, the needle is moving, and right before redline, pop the clutch right away.

^^^Yes, that is why I don't want to do that. Any other way with an auto? I gotta find a way for me to not look like a fool in front of the other guys with manuals. I tried the e-brake thing in D4, no luck, maybe in D1, that may work, because when I punch it in D1 it squeaks a bit but in D4 when I punch it from dead stop, not a sound from the tires. Strange...

best bet is to "brake torque."

hold the brake, rev the motor an then slam the gas to the floor an let the brake off.

that'd be the safest way to try it.

LOL, thats dudes SN is SmellBurntRubber & cant even do a burn-out. Take KrNxRaCer00 advice on the brake torque.

How about an e-brake burn out with some gear changes? 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th
