Exclamation 03 GTI modification suggestions..

just bought a 03 GTI AE and I was wondering what kinda mods people are doing to them.
The car is crazy fast already and definetly has a style all its own but I'd still like to to find out what kinda mods are available for exterior and engine. I'd really like to get the most out of the engine tho. are their any aftermarket parts for the turbo or ecu upgrades?? Im a 4th gen civic guy. I don't know a damn thing about VW's so a lil help would be appreciated.

Thanks

There a re a few places where you can get upgrades for your car. First thing is to get rid of those stock rims For some reason they dont sit right on that car. I just bought a 2003 GTI VR6 and Im planning on upgrading outside and suspension using mostly Oettinger brand parts. They are a bit expensive but I like what they have. Depends on what your planning to spend money, it also depends on your location in the United States. I live in Los Angeles and there are plenty of places that sell strictly VW upgrade parts. One off the top of my head is ABD racing in riverside, california. They specialize in Vw and Audi cars, they have almost anything you need for your car. The 20th Ann. Edition has mostly all the outside done already with the interior also nicely done. If you plan on changing things to the body then you wasted your money and should of gotten a VR6, but its your money . Engine componets are not hard to find at all. I can think of another off the top of my head (again) and that would be Apexi racing. They have some stuff for Vw's also. If you need anymore leads let me know. I studied for months about upgrades before I ever bought my GTI.

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't have alot of time to look into vw upgrades cause buying the car was one of those spurt of the moment things. I don't wanna spend to much on it cause I still have my civic project to finish, but i'll look into some shit and we'll see what happens. thanks for the help.

Peace

Chip - Revo/APR/GIAC

Exhaust -Techtonics/GHL/Milltek

DV - Forge/Hyperboost

Neuspeed rear sway

KW or H&R coilovers

Turbo Upgrades - APR/ATP/Dubwerks(soon)

As far as exterior I don't think you need to do much since you have a Votex kit already. I personally don't like the stock OZ Aristo's though.
