Check Gage Light

Hello
The check gage light on my dash keeps going on and I cant find a reason why. Any ideas? 1988 Voyager

If you mean 'Check Engine' light, try the key on-off-on-off-on method and watch the 'Check Engine' light blink the two-digit code. 55 means end of codes.

my check light came on in my 88 voyager about 1 hr.later a headgasket blew
so don't discount it
