Motor is screwd up and I Don't know whats wrong HELP!

About two weeks ago I was driving my car and it missed a couple of times then quit. ABout 3 days later it did it again but a little worse , then again quit. ABout 2 days latter yet again and wrose yet. Till yesterday, i was comming up this hill and it wouldnt quit missing and back firing. The bad thing is , is that the car is in time. What is wrong????

Could be a number of things. Bad gas, a carb problem, or a faulty spark plug. Better take it to a mechanic.

I would check the distributor cap and change it, might have a crack also rotor cap while youre there

It sounds like a problem with the distributor itself. You most likely have an HEI and they have a problem with the "pole piece".It's a small electrical part underneath the rotor,The small wires are prone to breakdown.You might want to check this out as well as any excess free play in the shaft .

Sounds like a bad plug wire to me. When they start to break down, it's more prone to miss under a load (going up hill). I have seen spark jump from a weak distributor terminal to a strong one.
Change the cap/rotor/wires and see what the plugs look like.
