Whoa, you better be careful! I can't picture your engine lasting long running that much boost and other mods with no extra fuel or tuning. And on top of that, I can't picture your tranny lasting long doing 4 wheel burnouts and beating on it into 2nd.

re

I have a 2002 Midnight Blue WRX here in canada.

My Mods are:

- Custom 3" cat back exhaust with 3" inlet on the muffler.
- Turbo Smart BOV
- Injen Cold air Intake

I went to the track (In london ontario) put in a half tank of c16 race fule from Vp Fuels and ran a best time of 13.8 in the 1/4 mile...I had to beat on the clutch to get that time, but I did it

I have a 3" down pipe with up pipe, boost controller, fuel pressure regulator with fule pump that I have to put in...well see what happens then.

well i dont have a WRX but my moms boyfriend does.

Injen CAI
GFB pulley kit
GFB BOV
MRT top mount intercooler
AVO short shift kit
3 inch straight through pipe between HKS downpipe and Blitz Nur Spec muffler
Walbro fuel pump
APEXi S-AFC
Greddy Profec boost controller

He hasnt run his car at the track yet because his clutch is worn to sh!t, he wont run it until he buys a new/aftermarket clutch and lighter flywheel(if he revs his engine up and lets the clutch out it just slips and slips)
But he has run his car using the Gtech pro(supposed to be pretty accurate) and it ran a 13.2

My girlfriend's brother has a blue WRX ('02 or '01) with a bunch of mods and he ran a 13.8 as well last summer at St. Thomas. I really like that track myself, its always well maintained and the atmosphere is nice and intimate. Cayuga can get so crazy sometimes with all of the competition cars - you're stuck running against 10 second cars all day. At least at St. Thomas its normal people driving all kinds of cars there.

When he went this bros. said he had trouble hooking the tires up after going through the burn-out patch (I guess cause you only spinning one set of wheels). I've found myself that if you're running street tires its better to go around the patch completely and not get your tires wet at all (Burn out before or after the patch if necessary). On a hot day those street tires won't get anymore sticky. Taking your tires pressure down to 24 or 22 psi also helps them hook a bit better.

Not to totally usurp this thread boys, but since I'm yapping about this particualr track I want to ask anyone if they've ever seen this - the last time at St. Thomas I was one of the first cars of the night to run, and just before I staged there was a track guy spraying the launch area with some stuff from a container (looked like a fire extinguisher) - really thin continuous stream of liquid. I couldn't understand why he was doing this but I tell to this day I've never felt my rear end come down so much and hook up so well. Could this have been some kind of glue he was putting down???

Probably VHT. It's very damn sticky. Some people bring their own and, after doing their burnout, will have a friend squirt a small patch in front of each driven tire, then do a quick short burnout on that to smear it all over the tire.

re

It's nice to see some of the canadian boys in here talking about the tracks in Ontario.

St Thomas Raceway is my Favorite.
