I don't know, may be it is because it doesn't get enough TV coverage. For example here it's only on satellite/cable, and we don't even get any report in public tv car programs... a bit weird as several french drivers have been there.
It's a shame though I really like the cars in this championship.

Re: a dying forum

Coverage plays a part.I love JGTC,their isn't a more balanced racing series in the world, which makes JGTC unique .Maybe if their was someone who taped the races and put them on the net via bitorrent.I can only find round 1.

To further prove his point, no one has replied to this thing in 2 days, so I will. JGTC Forum is dead, its a Japanese sport, and until they make that Laguna Seca run, everyone else will drool over D1 or Initial D in their respective forums.

I'm not a usual participant in this forum, but I've noticed that all three of the sports car racing forums seem incredibly dead, plus there isn't a place to discuss the BTCC, or Speed World Challenge, or Trans-Am, or Grand-Am.

Perhaps it is time that we asked Igor to merge all of these forums into one larger road racing forum. It'd make a lot more sense and maybe would spark up some more conversation.

Definitly a good idea, that could also include DTM an australian V8, a sort of super tourism racing forum.

Re: a dying forum

That would be a good idea. I check this forum infrequently because there is little going on. If we could get all the touring people together, perhaps the conversation would be more lively. I'm pretty sure there are a handful of people who like me, who are interested in JGTC, but don't get to share it much. If there were more coverage (I think Speedchannel showed a race this year?) and a website in English with more than the skimpy Japanese photo offerings... then the JGTC would have a broader fan base.
