Like Paonessa, DAMN MAF!!!
Today my MAF went out on me and my car was sputtering like a winded b*tch who just ran 10 miles full blast.
It is going to cost me $130.00 for a new MAF. At first the Parts Clerk came out and told me that it would be about $380.00 for a new MAF and I was like WTF!!! Then he came back out later and said, "oh, I made a mistake, I didn't realize that Nissan made a brand new MAF for the 2k/2k1 that is actually better than the original design, it is stronger and last longer, plus it is cheaper. Man, I was happier than a pig in slop, the only thing that pissed me off is that they didn't have any in stock and that it is going to take 2 days to get in a new shipment. Until then, they gave me a dog w/fleas for a Loaner, which is a Chevy Cavalier, boy I miss my Max already.

I getting the run around from Nissan:
First off they haven't fixed my car yet because they don't carry the MAF'S for the 2k/2k1 in stock (why not?). Second, they gave me the Chebby Crapalier (you guys already know about that) what you don't know is that when they gave it to me it was on "E" and it was dirty, not to mention it is too small for my needs. The car's inspection sticker was outdated too, I tried to go into a Military Base and almost got a ticket with their car (imagine that), I had to tell the MP that it was Nissan's loaner given to me until they can get my car fixed. The part will take 10 days to get in from wherever it is at, on top of this I asked them to do a trans flush and fill 2 days ago, I went their today because I left my cellphone in my car and asked if they had done the tranny flush and fill, the Service Manager (SM) looked at me as though I asked him to let me boink his ol' lady or something. They never told me that my car was going to take 10 days to fix, they told me 2 days, so I gave them 2 days, I went back there and asked to pick up my car, the SM says "Wait, I have to go talk to the Parts Clerk (PC)," right away I knew something was wrong, otherwise why would the SM have to ask a PC if my car was ready? I had to go to the bathroom and when I came back both of them were gone but then the PC shows back up and asks me "What do I want, (this after he just saw me ask for my car) and I tell him I came to pick up my car, he told me to go see the SM. I see the SM and he says, well Mr. Ewing, I don't know what to tell you, the part didn't come in but what really happened is that he never took my work order to the PC so that he can order the part nor did he bother to call me (oh, yeah phones do work they're meant for people to communicate) and tell me that my car would'nt be ready, instead I drove 60 miles to get told that in my face. The SM told me that he just heard about it late that night (my phones still work 24 hours a day) but I asked why he didn't call me, he had no excuse. I'm pissed to say the least and I was quoted a price on the MAF of 130 from Vester Nissan and to wait 10 days is ridiculous, so I went to my local Don Williamson Nissan and told them about the 10 day part delivery (my guys are great) the SM say wait a minute, I'll go and check, he runs it up the the PC and the guy comes back and says, "I can have it here on Monday and it will cost you 122 dollars." I'm like WTF!!! How is it that they are both Nissan dealerships and one can get the part quicker and cheaper than the other one? So I called the idiots at Vester and told them to cancel their order because I have a MAF that I will deliver Monday. There is going to be a nasty letter written to the President of Nissan North America when I'm done with those idiots at Vester Nissan in Clinton, North Carolina. No more Nissan's for me, I'm buying Infiniti from now on they treat you better like you're a special customer, not an interruption of their coffee break.

yeah nissan sucks. when i got my first nissan(red 96 200sx se-r) i took it back shortly after i bought it, for them to do some minor bull shit work while it was still under their 3000 mile used car warranty, and i wasked them to fix anything else they thought needed it the lady i talked to assumed i was going to be paying for all the repairs so when she told me all the shit that was wrong i said to fix it. when i got there and she asked for my credit card, i told her it was under warranty and i could just see her face drop and she excused herelf and went in the back to talk to someone. i bet she got reamed at cuz they did a pretty good amount of work.
but when i came back to pick it up i noticed that the sons of bitches put damn near 100 miles on my car so it was just over warranty mileage, so they didn't have to warranty anything else that needed fixing, unless they did 100 miles of test driving, which i can't see |

The nerve of those pugs, I just want to make it a point that I've only experienced problems with Vester Nissan in Clinton, NC<told you guys I'd keep pointing them out not with my guys here at Don Williamson<they are super nice and they make sure my car is serviced right. I'm still going with Infiniti the next time I buy, I love Nissan's cars but I think most Nissan Service Dealer's service suck from what I've heard from a multitude of people.
