Airbag Indicator Light Stuck On (HELP!)

One day under normal driving conditions the Airbag indicator light on the dash came on and has been on ever since. Any ideas on what this could be? Any easy things to check such as connections?

I've got the same problem (and more!). When my airbag light comes on, and I shut the car down, it won't start again because the keyfob won't disengage the immobiliser. Have had control module unit changed but it hasn't worked. Any help would be fantastic.

Hey sorry I won't be of much help.... My issue was solved with the module replacement. The only problem I had was that the light remained on after starting.

I had the same problem and the reason was the fuses that are used are grouped together in the fuse box and they were not pushed all the way in.

I eventually had to take mine into the dealer... something to do with the airbag... needs to be re-inflaited..

I found that disconecting the battery fixed my airbag light problem on reconect
