interior help.. removing pieces

i posted this on the old PH but no one has time to click submit 90 times... so....

my car is in the shop so i want to remove my tweeter pods, right side AC vent and my doorhandles for painting while i wont be driving it. how would i go about removing each of these? i will be buying a helms manual soon, but my nearest barnes and noble doesn't carry it for my car. i don't want to force anything too hard and break it.

(btw, i am painting more, but i already got that off easily. in case you thought i'm only painting a few things. )

i have a 95 civic ex
thanks

Actually I did respond:

I have no idea where the "tweeter pods" are, Us Dx'ers didn't get such luxuries but the right hand side AC Vent is the most delicate and pain in ass thing to remove. If you don't know how to do it, you WILL break it. I've broken it, I've had friends break it, don't try it or have LOTS of patience. As for the door handles, the plastic piece behind the actual handle can be easily removed by unscrewing the phillips head screw at the top of it, but the actual handle that you use to open the door are screwed to the door and have rods attached to them that are used to unlock to the door via the locking mechanism. You need to remove the whole door panel, then the plastic, then screws, then rods, then you got it.

Well most panels are, understandably, not designed to come off easily. I know my 99 EX has little metal retainer clips all over the place, and it's realy easy to snap them off if you aren't really careful and patient about removing the vents, not to mention an actual door panel. My advice is to order the manual and just wait, because the headaches your likely to cause yourself in the meantime aren't worth the small to moderate amount of progress you'll make.
