intake
Hello,
I'm looking to install an intake to a 2000 3.2 Rodeo. I was looking at the calmini ($99) and some generic ones on ebay ($35+shipping). I really don't know about the quality of the actual filters though and their ability to keep out dirty air. What I was wondering was if there was a place I could just buy the attachment to replace to airbox that would fit a K&N filter (which I seem to place more faith in) and what model K&N cone filter would I be able to use. Anyone ever done this? Thanks, |

Re: intake
Keep watching eBay. Someone there makes/sells inexpensive air intake tubes w/ cone filters (that could be replaced w/ K&N) and occasionally has them for rodeos. 1998-2003 are all the same. G/luck

Im such a newbie...Ok so while I was installing my new intake I dropped a screwdriver bit into the engine compartment. It fell into the right side of the compartment if you are facing the front of the engine (the side the airbox is located). I looked and I can't find the darn thing. I also checked underneath the car to see if it fell out the other side but it didn't.
Say worst case scenario I never find it and its stuck in there. Whats the worst that can happen? Nothing bad I hope. |
