1955 Chevy Stepside.

Just one pic for now. I've been working on it for a while now. I couldn't get things to line up too well. Just have to prime and paint, then do some deatiling now.

Pretty cool from what I can see. That kit does have a lot of fitment problems but it's not too bad

Re: 1955 Chevy Stepside.

Thanks for the kind words. It came molded in purple. Its going to be painted metallic blue, once I get the paint. The pic quality sucks, I know. I really need a digi cam.

i've seen this kit, it comes with the paint and glue, and has a nice pair of glasspacks?

Yeah, it has all that. The paint isn't that good, and the glue is the crappy Testors glue that smells like oranges, but works like crap. Every part has something wrong with it that has to be sanded, or cut, or drilled out and stuff. I don't really mind it all, but it does get tiring.

Cool I hope you can pull through and make it a great looking kit besides all the problems!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: 1955 Chevy Stepside.

I hope that I can too. Everything just keeps falling apart since it doesn't go together that well in the first place. I've had to glue the bumpers on about 4 times now.
