1971 javelin sst vin # help
I am trying to find the vin# on a 1971 amc javelin sst. The dash is missing if anyone knows where else I can find the vin# please let me know.

Axle, The VIN is engraved on the inside of the frame under the engine compartment. It's right where the steering "gear box" is connected to the frame. You may have to remove the box to see the number. Scott
