Wack tail lights

Looking for any help/advice on how to replace the stock tail lights for something better. I have an 88 Prelude that is almost complete but these stock tails stand out like a Bears fan in a Packers bar. I know they dont make clear/euro tails for my 88 but can i somehow make them myself or is there a company that special makes them? Please help

hi, very good first post if it is.
Anyway, if u could show us some pics of ur tail lights/car it would help.
I have an 86 and they do have altezza lights for it, i dont know who makes them though. Just look for them.

I will have to take pictures of the rear end tomorow. But for now this is all I have. The lights run clear across the rear end. I have looked everywhere online but still no luck. Where did you get yours ? Thanks for your help

Those stock tails are tight! Any modification you do to them will only make the back of the car look worse.

If anything I may have to looking into using 91 prelude tails. As for my 88s I think they look like trash.

do a conversion.. you don't see many decent 3rd gens with good bodywork. something like a 5th gen taillight conversion on a 3rd gen would be pretty.

That is a good idea that I have considered. But what would look good on an 88? Any ideas would really be helpfull. I was trying to make 88-91 3dr Civic tails work but they are not wide enough for the Prelude rearend. Great idea thanks

buy two center pieces, cut them in half, at equal length, and make it wide enough. i don't think those lights would look good though, IMO.
