Cool A open challenge/proposition

First time on this forum...nice curves all of you ladies (Meant cars...get your mind out of the gutter!!). I was just curious, how many of you actually "Race" as implied in your moniker "Girl Racer" or are you purely just show??? I've been exiled from the land of the Sun (LA) to the Midwest(Chitown), but am looking for girl racers in the area who'd be interested in playing one time on the freeways or streets of the midwest or better yet who'd be interested in drag racing/road racing professionally....(My female friend, aka future champion, is starting up a road race team...). Stay true to the Asphalt

Well lemme clarify the situation a little, seeing as I got a couple of looksies but no reply (I am normally not arrogant...just super sarcastic ) I am not looking for a girlfriend (My heart is already taken) ... and all you have to do is bring your car, I will help you build it....I usually prefer the all-motor route (Am a motorcycle nut...it shows GSXR ), although I'm very open to turbocharging/super charging and NOS...The only thing I ask from you is the commitment not only to test (Depending on what kind of racing that you want to do) so that we can work on your driver skills and the setup of your car. I currently have a partial sponsership with a Tuning shop in Chicago where I can get parts and my labor done for cheap and will be going after bigger sponsors to help us in the future such as TODA Racing (They make killa engine parts) and eventually a tire manufacturer (Love Pirelli'slll....mmmmmmmmmm ...but keepin' my options open). The plan is to start out in the NOPI/NDRA drags and gain some experience and work on the car setups...I don't care how good you are....the only thing I ask is that you have that love of speed that flows in the veins of all true racers, and you have the fires in your hearts to want to win...but most of all that you have fun. I'd rather take a girl with dedication and hard work over someone more talented who's lazy any day of the week...if you believe in yourself...then I'll believe in you.

Re: A open challenge/proposition

I drag race, cause besides Road Atlanta, there's not anywhere to road race. There are, however, a few drag strips across this state of confusion. I'm nursing a blown transmission right now, but hopefully it's getting replaced in Dec., and along with some other things getting done in Dec or that are already done, I'm aiming for low 15s.. possibly high 14s. Best time so far was the other night on a blown tranny.. hit a 15.7, .3xx RT.. Yes I'm slow on the pedal.. I haven't had time to tighten my throttle cable yet. *busy girl*. Can't wait to see what I do with a tightened cable, tuned engine, and new tranny. *devil grin*

Midwest, Eh? I've noticed that most of the "racer's" lean to either East or West Coast... Must be the ocean breeze

Damn Straight Midwest!!!!! Even though I miss the West Coast, but there are some good drag strips here (Route 66 in Joliet) and really good race tracks (Road America, Mid Ohio)...it used to be dominated by Muscle Cars, and I mean classic muscle cars like 66 Chevelle SS's and Dodge Chargers, but lately I've been seeing a lot more imports around as well as newer Detroit Iron...I just think it'd be hella cool...you haven't lived until you've raced on a nice slick road though...hehehehehhee

Sorry im from california too. east bay area. yeah i do a lil racing my car is a sleeper. I prefer high speed cornering and freeway racing. I can launch very well but i find it utterly boring so I stick to cornering. well chicago is definately too far away for me. gluck tho. obtw gixxers are niiiice
