Will d16y7 block work?
Ok I have a 98 civic ex with a d16y8 motor I have an extra d16y7 motor which is non vtec lying around in my garage but what I want to know is if the y7 block is the same thing as the y8 block. The only thing that I know that is different between the 2 motors is one is vtec and one isnt. The reason I ask is because I want to build the y7 block up if it will be the same thing as the y8. Any info would be great.
