Exclamation Axle nut question????????

i got a question that i need help with asap! i have replaced my hub on the wheel and i can not get the axle through the hub/rotor to put the axle nut back on, will it be safe to drive as long as i have everything bolted on exept the axle nut? thanks in advance and remember i need the responses asap!
