Headlight is out.

The passenger side headlight on my '96 civic went out so I replaced the bulb. The headlight still wouldn't go on. so I replaced the bulb again, still no dice. anyone have any ideas on what happened? or what could diagnose/remedy it? maybe I burnt the wires up using the wrong wattage bulbs?

I'd try checking the fuse for that headlight first... Is both low and high beam not working? If the fuse is good, you may have fried the wiring if you used higher than stock wattage bulbs.
