Smashed my CRX

Not fucking happy. I was driving home last night down the highway, had spent 10 days up the Gold Coast, and had been to the drags etc, so Im just cruising back to work and BANG!!!! I went round a corner and hit a massive piece of truck tyre which tore large chunks off my body kit. Why hadn't the lazy mother fucker cleaned up the road????!!!!!! I was so shattered when I got out and saw it. Im off to cry.

Sorry to hear that.If it's any consolation,it's possible for a retread to 'peel' off the tyre of a trailer rear axle without the driver being any the wiser until he stops.Thought from the thread title that you'd totalled the car, glad to see that's not the case.

Look at the bright side...you're still OK, maybe a bit emotionally damaged but at least you're still alive. A CRX could be replaced, YOU can't be replaced.

Yeah, thanks guys. Nah Darrell, not worth paying the excess to use insurance, got plans for the front bar now. Will keep you updated, and yeah, not massive damage, but its mine, I did nothing wrong, and I like how it looked.
