next mod??
What mod will give me a the best gains. I was thinking either headers change my gearing to either 3.42 or 3.73 or cams. Also what brand would you guys suggest?

Best gains where? In the 1/4 mile a rear gear swap will easily (Add a posi unit if you don't have one).
Top speed, keep the stock gears and add headers. I would do both if I were you, because how much time do you spend above 120mph? |

Without knowing what car, year, and mods you have I would suggest new gears, headers and Y pipe, and cat-back. Getting your car tuned up usually helps.

I don't know much about 1997 Firebird differentials, but I'm guessing its one of the Generals 7.5 or 7.626 ones.
Here we go, I found a link: http://www.performancepartsoutlet.co...drivetrain.htm If it was me I would order the following: SLP-64046A 1993-1997 f-body 3.73 Ratio Gear Package $725.00 Its all in one for someone who's not to sure on what to do and should cover every part you need. Installation will cost a penny too unless you or someone you know has the knowledge to install a rear. (Which is a pain in the ass, lining up the gears etc.). Unless you want a Ford nine inch /nudge /nudge. Man, I want a Ford Nine Inch. |
