on 02+ impreza wagons (mines an '04, i dont think theres a diff) 1) how do you take off the 2 standard rack bars on top, the ones that run the length of the car, if you take them off u can put them back on right? 2)whats the cheapest/ best deal shop anyones taken their wagon to get the windows tinted? im gettin all but the front 40% (back only 50%) and the shop quoted me 280 with a lifetime warranty, that was zebart, anyone find a better deal???¿¿¿

If you take the roof rails off, you will be stuck with holes in the roof where the rails were.

The 2.5TS in Canada comes without roof rails, so you can get the black strips from those to replace the strips on the roof that run the length of the car, so there will be no holes after you take the roof rails off. Check this link - http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/sho...p?threadid=321 it's a how-to on the roof rail removal and includes the part number to take to the subaru dealership to order the Canadian strips.

$280 seems like a lot to me. It may be because stuff involving labor is cheaper here in Arkansas though.
