Shifting issue
Recently I've been noticing that when my car is cold (for example, driving in the morning after leaving it parked overnight), I'll have some difficulty shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. The stick will feel like it is catching on something, and I'll have to go back into first and then into second. After doing this, I usually feel something in the stick assembly rubbing against something else. This problem disappears once the car has run for a bit (perhaps 15 minutes or so), and only occurs between 1st and 2nd. Any ideas as to what may be causing this problem?

Re: Shifting issue
could be a worn syncro or possibly a bent shifting fork.

Re: Re: Shifting issue
Really easy fix, change the G/box oil.
I can garuntee it's low and/or passed its used by date. Also check the clutch slave cylinder while your under there.

I had the same problem with my car. And first I changed the oil which it only helped a bit. About a month later I ended up replacing my clutch which was the problem. I hope you have better luck.
