low coolant light indicator stays on.

My wife owns a 1999 Trans-Am, and here latetly the low coolant water stays on. there is water were is supposed to be and the temperature stays on 210 degrees. is the low water sensor going out.... need help....

if it contnues iand over heats could be a headgasket but ya the sensor could be going if there really is no problem
