Just for more insight on exactly what im getting heres what the guy im buyin the motor from originally wrote...

"Selling a KA24DE+ tranny from a 1995 240sx with ~120k miles. Engine still runs excellent, and I still have all the service records for it. It is currently still in the car, so potential buyers can drive it before it comes out. I am selling the engine and tranny combo, including all the accessories (ac/alt/ etc. etc) . What will not come with the engine is the main harness, the speed sensor, and temp. sensor. (those items can be easily picked up at any junk yard). I need these pieces for my SR swap."

Just another thing, your probably thinkin to urselves, why a ka24de swap instead of a sr20, cause i cant afford it right now plus the motor in the 91 isnt workin. And this is a pretty cheap alternative. So any help on this swap will be greatly appreciated. Thnx

I MIGHT be wrong..... but I think the newer engines have something diffreent about them? maybe Jspec or Dorikin might know this, I could be totally wrong though. It should work in any case, just might need a little extra work then a KA from the same year. Atleast you got a newer engine that hadn't been been abused for 10 years =)

Lots of peeps tell me it should be an easy swap, but i may need a new harness, here what someone from my local forums wrote.

"If your 92 engine still runs good I wouldn't bother with the swap. There is no power difference as you know and the 95 will have slightly different wiring because it is an OBDII engine, which requires a secondary down stream O2 sensor to be installed as well.

Wiring in the accessories may also be different.

W/o the S14 main harness you will run into some issues due to differences between OBDI and OBDII."

What do you'll think, I know bout ka engines but nothin on obdi and shit. Thnx

well, is your '92 engine running fine? if so, i'd say don't bother with the swap for now and focus on getting a turbo kit for it or a different engine swap, say CA or SR or RB of some sort...?

Nah, the engine in the 92 is blown the fuck out, thats why i wanna do this cheap little swap till i get my real engine. Ill probably go in the rb path.
