the soon to be installed turbo

its just a t28 with some awfully large #'s so ive been told....a/r .80 and a .63 turbine....

yeah ill be using that manifold when it goes in...its a 92 cx mani....turbos aight...painted her silver...it wasnt in that bad condition at all. very lil up n down shaft play.

total cost so far of my build....$235 should be going in next week when i get the last $75 i need to run the oil lines and get the exh piping.

came off a 99 sylvia...also used on the older skyline motors....dunno how well its gonna do on my car but well sure find out.

thats not a CX manifold, its a D16Y7 96-00 DX manifold thats been chopped off and had a flange welded to it.

those are actually better than CX.

since you started this thread, im going to steal it for a minute and let a little surprise of my own slip.. lets just say i went back to D series and i've got a turbo project of my own up my sleeve... IHI turbo, HF manifold, 450cc DSM injectors, TurboEDIT chipped PM6, DSM SMIC with a custom dry ice "race box"....

I'd like to see how yours turns out

hmmmn the guy who sold me the turbo and mani said it was a cx...i wouldnt know really as i only build on the 88-91 platforms. yeah im too going with the afc hack...heard to much horror stories of fmu's at idle...my set up is just gonna be simple... t28, my mani, dsm smic, 440cc dsm inj, safc, no chipped ecu for me though....throwin my chipped pg7 on the side for now. dry ice box? for the smic? i was just thinkin bag of ic on mine for the track.

d16y7's come in 96-00 cx's as do the dx's and lx's have the y7 also so it is technically a cx manifold

The LS really didnt impress me that much, seeing as how it only ran .1 faster than my d16z6 with similar mods..and sorry, but all the parts went with it.

Oh, and BTW, the DSM injectors are 450cc not 440cc
