Alternator Issues: 87 maxima and 80 skyline?
Does anyone know if the alternators from 87 maximas and 80 skylines are compatible, or even if their parts can be cannibalized? I have an alternator in my car that charges very sporadically, and I think it's the voltage regulator, however, I'm poor. A friend of mine has an 80 skyline alt that he doesn't need and I was wondering if it could be finagled to match.
