quick newbe question
Hi all
I am working on my first model, r34 gtr. My question is do you normally glue the bumpers and side skirts to the body before painting it? Thanks |

I cement them together with the body before painting.

yeah i would, as if the shell needs any filling or sanding in these areas you cant do it after youve painted them. Make sure you can still fit the assembled chassis over the floorpan though!
I always assemble the whole shell before spraying it, despite what it says in the instructions.

Yeah, its a good idea too. Sometimes if you spray them at different times, then the colors don't match and thats a pain in the butt.
