thinking about getting a 95 vr4

hey i am thinking about selling my car to get a 95 3000gt vr4. And i was wondering if its a good car that will last a while, and beat my friends rx7 or friends 240sx with sr20 det swap we did a while ago. Cause i cant beat them with my car anymore so i need something faster and that is a 6 speed manual like that 95 vr4, ight thanks~ mike

94+ were all 6 speed. As far as beating those cars, probably not unless you mod it, but that all depends on what they have done to theirs.

VR-4 INFINATELY BETTER than the mustang gt!!!! and like he said ^ depends on the mods they have, BUT stock for stock the VR-4 takes the rx7 and 240sx, (im not a 240 guy so i dont realy know bout that swap tho but i dont think the VR-4 would bow to it) and for the price ur bud spent on the 240 swap, u'd make that VR-4 romp! and as far as reliability... that rx7 will make u feel better bout any down-time ur car spends in the shop! so... if i were u, i'd deff. go VR-4! but... thats just me...

thanks, and i i get it what parts first?

thanks guys, and also if i were to get it whats the best mod to do first? intake, intercooler, exuast, down pipe, .........? and i know that the prices are so much more expensive for this car but so much more worth it to the car, so front mount or replace factory intercoolers with upgraded ones and a hard pipe kit. thanks~ mike

Re: Sa

first mods to do would be boost controller and boost guage(stock is very unreliable) and turn the boost up to 14psi. for just the parts, a manual boost controller $30-$60 and boost gauge $60-80, and that right there will get you 30-40 horses then next i would get a exaust
