Well, the definition of rice is different for everyone. I like to think of it as "All show, no go", like they have a nice body kit, paint job, big wing, huge stereo, but you look under the hood, it's a stock engine with I/H/E. Really I mean, if you dress up your car, and it still only runs 16's, it's rice.

Everyone has their own opinion what rice is. I think it is a stupid term. If you want to do something to your car and you like it it's none of anyone elses buisness. If I wanna put a huge alum wing stickers all over my car ( I would never do this but just saying) then everyone would scream rice. If I like it though that's all that matters. Don't let anyone tell you what to do to your car. That's exactly what it is, it's your car. If you like it that's all that matters.

LoL, good ol' rice.

i dunno, i don't believe there is a deffination for that anymore. back in the day it used to mean something that was ghetto rigged in a poor manor. metal rain gutters for side skirts, mdf (wood) spoilers, plastic trash can lids that were melted enough to be reshaped into a "bumper"....and yes boys and girls i have seen someone take the frosted clear plastic sheeting used for florecent light covers and cut it up to glue on to their stock tails to make clear tail lights

i can appreciate anyone's hard work into a car as long as it isn't cheesey

Well said.

I got wheels for my car because I couldn't stand the 13 in. stock ones anymore. I painted my car because I like blue better than maroon. I got a new bumper cause after I got hit, why buy a stock one when I can get an aftermarket one. My car is lowered, it handles and looks better. I also have a nice stereo because I appreciate good music. I still have my stock 1.5 motor. So my car is rice? yep yep. all show no go. someday soon I'll get the 1.8 in but now i have other things going on and until then I want my car to look good and handle better. i enjoy doing what i can to her. i enjoy washing, waxing that ass and driving her all over town and my car probably runs 18s.
