328is radio removal/installation

hey guys/girls,
i recently purchased a 97 328is and i have an alpine 1006 monitor ready to be installed. i had a honda civic and could rip the interior apart in my sleep, but unfortunately.........i am new to bmw's. i just need to know

1. is there a tool to take out the oem radio?
2. if not where are the screws for the removal of the trim to ge to the
radio screws?
3. should i get the code for the radio before removal?
4. and any other things i should watch out for while installing. (not it
does not have hk stereo?
