Question Abs Brake Light

I Recently Purchased A Used 1998 Jimmy With 60k Km, New Brakes Have Been Replaced In The Rear, And Now The Abs Brake Light Comes On, Would This Be A Result Of New Brakes, Or Shoul I Have It Looked At. Any Info Would Be Helpful, Thanks

Sorry so late getting back to your question.
I would have the ABS system looked at. If the warning light comes on it stores a trouble code in the ABS module. This will help with diagnosis.
Installing new brakes will not help or cause this problem (unless a sensor or wiring was damaged by someone who didn't know what they were doing.
