piece of shit 2.8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok for everyone that read this DONT EVER BUY A S-10 WITH A 2.8!!! they are the worst shit engines ever , i mean it does good on power but damn!!! i havent had so many things go wrong with a car, EVER! i hope when i get home today its ina million fucking pieces, then my life would be so much better. i really dont think the problem can be found, and i just bought a 5.0 for it and i cant wait to get it in, DAMNIT!!!!

Did you mean to say it does good on power? I am guessing you meant fuel economy, I had an 2.8 s10 and it was the most gutless piece of shit in the world.

Good luck dropping the 305 in it, that should give it plenty of get up and go.

I know how you feel man. I had the stalling 2.8L blues in my '85 S-10. I called my parents several times bitching about it. But I still liked the truck though.

ya i did, i have heard ppl make fun of it, but min eis FAR from gutless, i have whooped LOTS of cars with it, i have never ran the quarter mile wiht it but it does 0-60 in about 9.7 sec, which isnt bad for a small 6 cyl truck, it jus has SO many fuckin problems and it pisses me off.

im with yogs, i think a 6 cyl truck should do 0-60 in at least 8's. my friends chevy 4 cyl does it in like 9.2.

ya people make fun of 2.8's all the time but its ok i kno it does good, and to u ny sk8er, u prolly liek fords and fo ru to make fun of a chevy is normal b/c i woudl also be very insecure driving a ford not knowing when its gonna die again
