My car has had issues that would leave me to believe that the throttle body plate and idle air control valve need cleaned. I was able to get access to the throttle body plate and clean it. I can NOT locate the Idle air control valve.
Does anyone know where it is located or have a picture of what it looks like? I *thought* I may have found it, but wasn't sure. Is it attached to the throttle body plate with two bolts/screws? This is the only thing remotely similar I see. If anyone could provide info on how to access it / remove it, I'd really appreciate it. Edit: Also, what is the smaller rubber tube that is connected to the air box? Is it a condensation drip? |
