Be wary of the skies above

So, I was out flying a kite yesterday, and the wind was pretty strong (probably too strong for the likes of one of those two dollar 48" triangle-shaped supermarket kites) Anyways, the wind got a good hold of the thing, and snapped the string (I'm estimating, since I had about 160 feet of line out, right near where it was tied to the kite.) And surprise surprise, the thing took off across the air currents like a friggin' bullet.

I just want to post this notice -in case it happened to crash land into the yard/windows/face of someone or someone's grandma- who may be a regular on this page.

BTW: The kite is black, with a threatening looking skull and crossbones on the underside. That kite ruled

Thank you, that is all.

With this Hurricane coming to these parts, I keep wishing I had a 9' or 14' power-kite like we used for kite-surfing......there are a few people I would like to attach to it

If your kite was heading east then its well over the ocean now. No worries on this side of the pond.

Exactly why I would want it tied to a few people

Wow-weird conicidence but my son and I were out flying his kite yesterday also. We have one of those big 5 foot wing span dragon kites as seen in Cosco or Sams. The wind was really wipping out over 100 feet up. Everytime I went about 100 ft or higher the kite would go crazy and whip around and finally ground itself.
Never did lose it though..

I've got a cousin from whom you can buy said kite. Mind if I tie on a few people as well????
