Looking into a M3 for less than 22k

Hi I was looking into a 98 M3 for under 22k. How fast are these? Are they recomended? How do they handle and how much power do they have? Thanks for any comments on late 90's M3s (97-99). Thanks!!!

mid-high 5's 0-60. 240HP stock. The are performance BMW's so the handling is amazing, as good as anything else out there from that era. I will get one, or a new RX-8 within 3 months, so I think they are great.
