you may have to get a z tire but it'll almost definitly fit, if you look at the GT V6's they have 17's and normal tires and they got a little room to spare, so get a smaller tire and a bigger rim and it should balance out.

tire and wheel

the GT 03 has 17 inch wheel with 215 40 17 tires on it (michelin)
there is for sale some 18 inc wheel by 7 not 7.5, not sure it will pass pretty tight clearance on the back wheel unless the extra is out but not in,
the 18 inch wheel goes with 215 35 18 tires.... on a 18 X 7 rim

dealer told me...

the dealer told me they were gona be pushing a model with 19's at some point, and from what i see out there.. you can get on it up to 19 x 7.5... it is absolutly imperative that you put rubber band tires on 19's unless you want to make it so that your speedometer will read wrong. if u put on ur 19's tires that make the overall wheel/tired package bigger than the original wheel/tire package you will get false speed readings from your speedometer. (price you pay... tickets you pay also... hehe)
