Titanic

I have invented a new drink. I am calling it the titanic, because it's reminiscent of a depth charge, but there's no way anythings coming up from the floor.

Take one schooner of beer (pint if your a girl) and drink 1/3 of it. Take 2 shots of Absinthe IN THE GLASSES and drop the whole lot into your beer. Now drink the entire thing in <10 seconds without coming up for a breath.

Tis most excellent. Report back to me when done. I did 3 of these at the snow 3 weeks ago to kick the evening off. Was quite a good one.

Will be doing more this weekend.

I have to be honest OZ – I am a bit concerned over this fixation you have on drinking. You’re pretty young yet, but you might consider taking some time off from creating and drinking these potent cocktails.

I know you can do what you want and I am not making a big deal out of it, but I’ve seen the this path before and it can get ugly.

Thanks for the concern, Yogs, but truly apart from a few occasions a year (maybe 3 or 4) I am extremely sensible. Have <8 drinks in a night on a full stomach and heaps of other fluids. I would really only go out to DRINK maybe once every 2-3 weeks at that. Relatively Young Not legal tender in the US for 1.8 years.

It's illegal to sell absinthe in the US... but not to have it. You just have to buy it outside the states, and thanks to the internet, it's insanely easy. Me, an 18 year old, got a bottle imported and shipped to my dorm room. Great stuff. My friends and I polished off the bottle in a few months.. truly an incredible beverage.
