Nismo

i cannot post images to show you what I'm talkin about but I am currently building a R32 skyline in a NISMO style (you will see and I have already taken some in-progress pictures for you if anyone can offer some suggestions as to how to post them!!) some of the features include a carbon-fiber valve and cam cover for the RB26, and plenty more.

I am looking to put a NISMO style stripe down both sides of the car in a light silver color. here are some examples of the styles of stripes I am looking for..

DIY decal kit and design them yourself.
Contact a sticker cutter and have them cut them out of vinyl.
Careful and diligent masking...

Wouldn't call any of these 'easy,' though...

thanks jay!

eighty something modelers viewed this and ONE replied. boys and girls.. the word of the day is FKUCKED.

lets use it in a sentence kids.. I am FKUCKED!

I really need this I can't build a NISMO skyline without any NISMO decals!!
I would buy the testors kit but you need a $6,000 printer to produce sharp decals. a normal printer would produce garbage.

Re: Nismo

i know the exact stripes you are talking about they look really good but i've come up with a couple ideas of how to do it. Mask off the area when the body is really dry and paint them and voila. Or i was thinking you know how the top secret skyline has gold overlay on the top of it... well use chrome detailing the sticky sheet kind and cut it out of that, i think that would look pretty sweet, and if you don't do it I willl!!! hahaha what do you think?

I am not masking and painting, because I cannot paint tiny NISMO letters, I doubt anyone could. the chrome sounds great except I run into the same problem, hand made NISMO lettering cut from foil at 1:24 size? never going to happen. thanks for the idea, but I need a real decal. Im going to figure out how to get one from one of those models, anyone got any ideas? besides buy the kit (i would want the decals for THAT kit at that point ) thanks !

I have both the Signal and 400R decals in the pipeline which are likely to be ready around early November. They should have been available this weekend but the people who print them for me close down for a two week hol which made it impossible for them to be ready - very annoying. I have several other decals coming too such as Mines V-Spec II, Nismo 350z, Nismo R34 and C-west R34. Sorry they can't be done any sooner for you.

only thing now and chris maybe you can help, is instead of the 400R I need it to say NISMO. any ideas on how to change that? worse comes to worse the signal stripe will be just fine. I'm in no hurry man.

what colors will they come in???

I didn't think I was going to get lucky this time heh heh.

The 400R stripes are either silver or black. All the various skyline/350z designs i'm doing go onto one a4 sheet for printing then cut up accordingly. You pay for the number of colours used so this is the most cost effective way. Coz there are a several colours being used inc silver, i may be able to incorporate a silver nismo logo into the design. That is if the white nismo logo with red dot from the 'Nismo r34' design won't suffice? Which type Nismo logo were u after?

well for example take the 400R stripe. twards the rear of the car above the rear fender well where the stripe thickens it says "400R" in the midst of the stripe -see here for example: http://www.fantasycars.com/derek/car...smo/400r_3.jpg

I need that to say NISMO as it does on NISMO skyline's, not 400R.

I could modify the 400R stripe to say NISMO instead of 400R no problem so long as I had a NISMO sticker in the same color and the appropriate size. you follow? can you do a NISMO decal that would be appropriate for that?
