Question What should i do next, i need help!

i have a 97' jetta gls. and so far i have put on a eurosport racing intake, eurosport cat back, eurosport wires, eurosport underdrive pullies, autotech 268 degrees cam, neuspeed chip, eurosport short shifter... so now im wondering what to do next and i do not have the money for a turbo or supercharger. is there a good pair of headers that anyone has experience with, or does anyone recomend a certain ignition, is there a high flow cat, or is a cam gear some thing i should look into. im kinda stuck right now and would just like some advice.....thank you!
v/r Justin

It sounds like you're off to a great start!

Maybe you should just hold onto the cash until you have a big enough $ pile for a forced induction system. If you go with a turbo you'll have to swap that out anyway. I know, I know, you, me and everyone else wants everything right away. Somethings (big mods) are worth waiting for. Make an induction decision, hang in there and stick with it. Soon enough you'll be happy you did!

Unfortunatley, I don't have any hands on experience for your project, I'd only be guessing.

This looks pretty cool:http://www.gmpperformance.com/produc...percharger.htm

Save>>>>

You are at the point now where i would agree with the last guy and say save your money for a while. With all that performance something is very likely to go on you, or you will be having fun and crack, you know? If you don't have enough money to buy a turbo, then how do you plan on replacing you heads or drive train when you rip out a gear or two??? I hope this isn't your only car. Take it from experience, I have an 84 Rabbit and a 77 Chevy Malibu totally hooked up. I was a dumb kid years ago and only had the malibu as a daily driver. Close to broke from all the work i put into it and i blew the engine and am now on my third engine. It goes quick man when you are having fun.
If you insist on buying something though, I would say go with a new differencial to put those horsies on the road harder. Even think about throwing that clutch out and throwing in something stronger with more pressure to handle the extra HP you are putting in.

no problem...

no prob man... alot of people do.. that is one big thing that they overlook and is a VERY important part.. i meen whoa LOOK EVERYONE I HAVE ALL THIS POWER IN MY ENGINE, but it all disapears mysteriously when my stock clutch can't handle the new torque.
Yea my friend chipped his TDI and man does it move now OH Hells yea... but thing is oops the clutch went in like a month... now he is throwing a VR6 clutch in there and he will be passing people left and right.
Just the same (IF) anyone of you is thinking about caming out your automatic cars, or putting more power in them; keep in mind that the stall on your torque converter is set for the cam lift... if you change the cam you MUST change the torque converter to a compatible stall, or else you will be hesitating at idle cause it isn't slipping enough for the heavy lobe, stalling out, or your take off will be slow cause the new cam is made for higher end power and you are trying to take off on low end still....

Good luck man
