The Best Diecast Modeling Companies
I'm just an amatuer when it comes to Diecast model collections, but the best companies I think are Kyosho, Paul's Model Art(or Minichamps), Gateway and AutoArt. Since I'm just an amatuer, there are probably compaines I've never even heard of.
Also, how do you people make such awesome mods, When it comes to trying to do it myslef, I always happen to break the car permanately. |

I think you have a good grasp on what kinds of models are the highest quality. If you really want to start shelling out the dough imports such as BBR and Minichamps will gladly take your money (in large portions) and give you a nice model in return.
If you don't want to worry about irrepairable damage follow this rule: Don't ever touch the metal. Basicly just remove any plastic parts and then work on them. Any plastic you break can always be repaired with model glue. Also pretty much any paint you put on can be removed with paint stripper (as long as it isn't too strong) |

I checked that site out already. I really don't want to spend the money on the $50 shipping.
