Doesn't sound like my kind of movie. In what way was is sickening? To many guts flying around or the story line?

No, it's sort of demented sick like a house of 1000 corpses type of movie, but not THAT bad. I'd check it out on rental or something, not worth watching in the theater.

a girl i work with saw it this weekend and said it was the worst movie shes ever seen. and sees seen about everything.

It is horrible, but some guy dies and falls into a river, contaminating the water. Made me think...

yeah but you'd think that the water would either be stagnant or it would be constantly flowing...nature would decompose the body, bacteria would be filtered out..and there you go fresh drinking water...
