how good are the front ends on the 93 regal

my brother might get a 93 regal
i want to know how good is the front wheel drive and all that stuff.
right now he has a 88 regal.
and teh whole front end is shot it need 1000 woth of work,
it need lower ball joints new bushings craddle bushing and all other stuff.
so did buick improve then 93 regal or in time the front end would do the same thing

Buicks generally are good vehicles. However it all depends on the maintance and care taken by the previous owner. If it is well maintained, it will not need much work. If the vehicle is driven over a lot of potholes, it will defenately wear out the front end. I get newer Buicks in here still in need of lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends and wheel bearings. So check the vehicle out first and do repairs as needed instead of piling everything up and ends up costing an arm and a leg.
