A4 Turbo boost

Has anyone used an aftermarket turbo boost controller? How well do they perform? I am looking at the ABD\Split second BCS boost controller for my vehicle.

I haven't personally used a boost controller in my car, but a few friends have. Personally I'd chip the car and forget the boost gauge. The chip will run your car much more efficient.
