'69 "Chrome-maro" in-progress pics.
This has been my hardest model to build...just for the fact that I don't want too. I have a crazy rule that I don't start the next until I have finished the last.
On with the pics. The body was painted with chrome paint in an attempt to make the kit more appealing.

That is a great way to get out of having to bare-metal-foil!
I am working on the same kit right now. How come you don`t like it? I think the quality of the kit is incredible! Also, I wouldn`t touch it with compound or polish once your done, or you may get a dark gray blob!
