german style MK1

ok, to start off, i know you guys (americans) call Mk1's rabbits, and there's a forum for them, but i thought id get more help here.

also buy Euro style, i certaintly DO NOT mean something with Alteeza tail lights frenched in..

what i mean, is a MK1, slammed over 13x8" deep dish rims. its a german thing for the most part.

ill post some pics next time i come on on the other computer to give you guys who dont know what im talking about an idea, and anyone here who has any pics, id appreciate if you posted them too .

now, what i need help with, i plan to build a MK1 in this style, but i need to know what offset they run, what exactly width rim they run, what size tire they run on them(width and profile), to get that slanted in sidewall look, what ride height they run, how much travel theyve got left, and what other mods you need to do, if any, to get them on there and, thats all i can think off.

what ive found out so far, is they lower them around 100, to 130mm (4 or 5"s!) and im pretty sure they use a 13x8" rim. i can source a 13x7 or 8" rim locally, in a few differant offsets, and order them drilled in the right size too.

so if anyone can give me any imformation, of just steer me in the right direction, itd be appreciated, maybe even an english VW forum, or some good golf sites. cheers.

Here's a link to the VW Vortex Golf/Rabbit + Jetta 1 forums ... there's a lot of sweet rides on there, and lots of technical info too ... I'm sure you'll find it real useful

Just for kicks, here's a pic:

Not exactly my style, but I've got too much to do to go lookin for a nicer one
