having trouble....need help
I bought a 93 accord se from a dealership about a week ago, it has 177K miles on it. When I drive it around, it starts to smell like rubber is burning. I have checked the engine many times and I can't find where its coming from. The smoke is rising from where the fuel injection is at. BTW it is an AUTO. Please help. Any help will be appreciated.

it can be oil drippin down to the exaust...maybe the oil filter is loose or there is a oil leak...thats right under the fuel injection areas.
go under ur car and see if u see some leaks or spots on the exaust where it burnt..... u know how burnt oil smells like do u?

That might be it, but it smells more like burning rubber. I'll go get under my car and check it out. The dealership might not have put the oil filter on tight enough, they didnt know how much oil to put in so i'll go check her out. Thanks

I think thats what it is. It is leaking onto the exhaust. I don't know how to fix it myself. I'm gonna take it to a mechanic. Thanks for the help.
