This is AMT's 454 SS C1500 kit. It'll be far from stock, far from scrapin the ground with bags, and far from the top of a 150 ft tree with huge boggers. I'm going for the ''street machine'' look. As you can tell from the pics, it has 1/24 skyline rims, those are rims of choice. No matter what anyone says those are what I'm using... the ride height wont be like it is in the pics, I haven't fabbed the suspesiont to accept the wheels yet. It will be Boyd's Black Pearl Paint. I've rebuilt the rear suspension with the 4link bars and some coils.(What a P.I.T.A.! They dont look to even so I'm gona start over.) Here's what I've done so far: Engine painted flourescent orange, EFI kit put on, chrome timing and chrome EFI injector plate, attached the revelle 3 n 1' LS6 motor to the trucks transmission (4l80E), painted the interior (no pic). In the great words of Jesse James on Monster Garage, "All thats left to do is everything!"

Well To answer the 4link ?, The ladder bars, and the headers and leg pipes all come from the Revell 66 Malibu SS kit. Since I ripped the bars off last nite to even em up they're drying right now, I also slapped so putty on my custom diff cover (Drag car front diff.) so it's smooth when I paint it ill post some pics. Here's what's done so far: Tank finished painting flat red, rebuilt rear suspension, painted the underchassis, and primered the body, I'll throw some pics up in a day or two. Thanks for all the support with this project, it is valued and appreciated.

Glad I checked this on my own, didn't know I had more reply's. Well, lets get to the point. Here's what's done so far. My camera is being kinda bitchy so I used Hono Turtles technique, well this is how he did it on the levin. I've finished the underchassis, except for the other three disc brakes. I relocated, drilled holes, and put wires on the battery. I cut the middle bar in the stabalizer and replaced it with wire( will add driveshaft loop, and paint aluminum). Relocated the fuel tank, painted flat red. Added Revell Corvette Z06 front suspension. BAD NEWS: I had to strip my LS6 chevelle motor cause it wouldnt fit with the headers (1/24 motor, 1/25 kit) So I cut the tranny and put it back on the 230hp 454 it came with. To boost hp a performance many has been added, along with the EFI, the headers, leg pipes, computer, HEI distributor, and a few other mods, Dyno 00' figured 435hp@4800 rpm. But its a model I can say it has 435000hp if I want. Anyway, I had to give the primered cab a paint thinner bath today, because my metallic black was applied cold and unshooken(silly me). I finished the interior too. brugundy carpet and door panel with flat red dash and center console, 3spoke steering wheel, tach with shift lite, special gauges, and a toggle console for some laffing gas. Question: Where should i put my laffin gas? On the underchassis, where? Or in the interior mounted to the wall above the console?

Ok Eugene I'll show what I can. Here's 3 pics, one is of the interior (BTW Im gettin my cam back this afternoon, engine pics
) another pic is above pic of the dash showing the wires for the tach and gauges going into the dash. and the last is a composite, the disc brakes, my blue laffin gas bottle, ceiling console, fog lamps, fire extinguisher, a frame brace, oil cooler, finned cover for something, air condition compressor(one on the firewall the other on the fender), dual coils, drivehshaft(color undecided), and the cold air box for the EFI. All that's left to do is make the NOS label for the bottle, well that and evreything else.

Everything looks great man. The brakes behind the Skyline rims look killer. Keep us posted on how it goes, cause I can't wait till this thing is finished.

1 update: No pic, yet. I've removed the transmisison brace in favor of the vette framw stabalizer, put in the Y-bar middle link, put in the drivehshaft, and put in the drivehshaft loop, but it fell off so ill need some Family Dollar store brand superglue! (thats where i purchase my flat black, aluminum, gloss white, and grey primer paints). well thats it for now. Pics in a day or so.
