94 Thunderbird front bumper

I have a 1994 Thunderbird LX and while servicing it the other day I noticed something appears to be missing from under the front bumper.
I can see marks where something used to be attached under the bumper. Was there an air dam or something there?
I seem to remember one there but I'm not sure.

Can anyone post a picture of the front of their car showing what is there?
A part number or description would also help.

I have been to the dealer looking at the bumper parts list and bought what they thought it could be but it wasn't the right part.

it's a rock guard. attaches to the front bumper and underneath where the engine sits.
